Insurity has upgraded its data warehousing and reporting program, Reporting Decisions, by adding business intelligence and advanced analytical capabilities.
The program now allows property/casualty insurers to view, organize, and analyze information and disseminate it throughout the company and distribution channels. Built on industry-standard Microsoft technologies, Reporting Decisions is property/casualty specific and comprised of three main components: foundational physical and logical insurance data models and data marts; report authoring, publication, and distribution capabilities; and online analytical processing cubes, support for business-management scorecards and the definition of key performance indicators.
User-defined dashboards allow managers to spot trends, make adjustments, and focus resources to maximize results. Pull-down menus and drag-and-drop functionality let users build management and operational reports. Managers can create top-level views or drill down to regions, states, agents, lines of business, products, and customers.
