The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New York Inc. honored three carriers with 2007-2008 Outstanding Company Partner Awards during IIABNY's May 9 Annual Business Meeting and Conference at Doral Arrowwood in Rye Brook, N.Y.
Travelers Companies Inc. received Outstanding National Company Partner. Selective Insurance Group received Outstanding Super Regional Company Partner. New York Central Mutual received Outstanding Regional Company Partner.
The honors were based on the survey findings in "Industry Index: The IIABNY Members' Report on Carrier Performance." Many of IIABNY's 1,900 statewide member agents graded various aspects of their relationship with national, super regional and regional insurers.
