NAS Insurance Services introduced NetGuard Plus Insurance. NetGuard Plus includes network security liability insurance covering allegations of breach of privacy, libel, identity theft, slander, defamation and more.
In addition, the policy provides government investigation defense cost insurance for investigations into privacy violations and includes regulatory fines and penalties. The policy also provides first party coverage for data recovery and customer notification costs for privacy breach and covers rogue employee claims.
The limits go up to $5 million. Minimum SIR is $2,500 and the minimum premium is $1,250.
