The American College has named Albert J. "Bud" Schiff, CLU, chairman of the foundation board of directors. Schiff's responsibilities include leading the executive committee of the board of directors to ensure proper functioning of all committees, working directly with the president and chief staff officer in establishing goals for the foundation and recruiting and engaging new members for the board of directors.

Schiff is the CEO of NYL Executive Benefits LLC. He also is the retired senior executive vice president and member of the board of trustees of the Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York. Previously, he was president of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting, chairman of the International Million Dollar Round Table Top of the Table, and member of the LIFE Foundation board of directors. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his CLU designation from The American College.
