| William Riker |
Narragansett Bay Insurance Co. elected William Riker to its board of directors. Riker is the former president and chief underwriting officer of RenaissanceRe Holdings Ltd., which he joined in 1993, its founding year. He also served as COO and president of RenaissanceRe and CEO of Glencoe Group Holdings Ltd., the Dallas-based segment of RenaissanceRe.
|Previously, Riker was vice president of Applied Insurance Research Inc. and was senior vice president of treaty and facultative operations for American Royal Re. He is a CPCU and has a Bachelor of Science and Engineering from Duke University. He is a board member of the International Hurricane Research Center and Federal Alliance for Safe Homes, is on the board of visitors for Duke University's Pratt School of Engineering, and is a foundation board member of Red Bank Community YMCA.For more information, visit http://www.nbic.com/.
