An ongoing labor dispute will cause the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers to switch venues for two of its upcoming meetings, the association said.

In a note to its members, the Washington D.C.-based association said that the Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, W.Va., is involved in a labor dispute with members of its employees union. The union does not have a new contract with the resort hotel and the negotiations are in stalemate, the CIAB said.

Due to a risk of a work stoppage, two upcoming CIAB meetings in May will be switched to The Homestead in nearby Hot Springs, Va., the organization said.
