According to Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson, a former claim manager for an Oklahoma Restaurant Group Self Insurance Association recently pled guilty to five counts of grand larceny by fraud.

Rhonda K. Bonnewell was charged earlier in July in Oklahoma County after allegedly writing more than $12,000 in checks for insurance claims and later used those checks to make payments on personal debts.

According to Edmondson, Bonnewell was ordered to pay $12,901.92 in restitution and serve a five-year deferred sentence and was also ordered to pay court costs and a victims' compensation assessment.
