The Hartford said it plans to include its nationwide network of 10,000 independent agents selling property-casualty insurance in a new initiative to distribute pension products, group benefits and individual life insurance to business owners.
The company said Greg Boyko, currently president and chief executive officer of Hartford Life Insurance K.K. in Japan, will return to the United States on Oct. 1 to lead the carrier's new cross-selling initiative.
Mr. Boyko will report to Ramani Ayer, chairman and CEO for The Hartford.
