The Tampa, Fla.-based Institute for Business & Home Safety that works to reduce disaster effects said its annual conference will be held Nov. 8-9 in Orlando, Fla.

IBHS said the meeting at the Rosen Centre Hotel will bring together insurance industry professionals, government officials, academics and others dedicated to reducing property losses. Speakers will include experts in earthquake and forest fire catastrophe.

Attendees will learn how to reduce growing risks from natural disasters and other property loss events at the conference, which has as its theme "Stronger Together," IBHS said.
