Advanced EDR Systems, developer of highway safety technology,has introduced envisionCam, a dual lens camera installed in avehicle that records aggressive driving behavior and accidents.
The device is secured behind the rear view mirror of the vehicleand stores the information, which can be wirelessly transmitted toa computer when it is within range of a specified wirelessnetwork.
The video captures events inside and in front of the vehicle.The video can be viewed using Advanced EDR Systems' software thatfeatures a custom player and a button that plots the path of anevent using a satellite map.
