The Insurance Accounting and Systems Association (IASA) willbegin accepting presentations on July 1 that will be evaluated forpossible inclusion in the educational offerings of the 2008 IASAAnnual Educational Conference & Business Show. Individuals,member companies, and industry volunteers are encouraged to submitpotential topics and suggested speakers on the IASA Web site,www.iasa.org, via the "Call for Papers" link. The deadline forsubmissions is Aug. 31.

The 2008 IASA Annual Educational Conference & Business Showwill be held in Seattle, Wash., from June 1 to June 4. This annualevent attracts nearly 3,000 accounting, technology, and financialservices professionals who work for or are affiliated with theinsurance industry. IASA 2008 will provide educational sessions forattendees in three main categories: accounting, risk, and finance(A.R.F.); technology; and career skills development.
