Claims News Service, May 10, 1:48 p.m. EDT — The National Hurricane Center has cancelled a tropical storm watch along the U.S. southeast coast due to the weakening of subtropical storm Andrea, which was downgraded this morning to a subtropical depression.

Andrea’s sustained wind speeds have decreased to 35 miles per hour, and is expected to lesson even more in the next 24 hours. The center of the storm is expected to remain offshore, which means insurance company and independent storm chasers should leave their RVs parked in the garage for a little bit longer.
