Highline Media, parent company to Claims Magazine, andOhio-based Pfingsten Publishing have been acquired by privateequity firm Wind Point Partners. Under the purchasing terms, thetwo companies will form a new publishing entity that will operateunder the name of Summit Business Media.

"We are very pleased to acquire Pfingsten and Highline, whichhave been fast-growing, business-to-business informationcompanies," said William Reilly, who will serve as chairman andchief executive officer of Summit Business Media. "The businesseshave major brands and are leading information providers in theirrespective markets. The fact that both are information providers tothe insurance industry, for example, is a major plus."
