In a National Underwriter article profiling Assurex Global in 1997, the brokerage consortium was then aspiring to command the global stage.

The article said the firm at that time had 66 independently owned brokerage firms in the United States and Canada in 150 offices. There were also another 30 international affiliates for a total of 300 offices.

The number of brokerage firms in the United States and Canada remains at 68, but internationally, Assurex has taken on a global presence with 49 independent brokerage firms in Mexico, Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. The group today counts on 500 offices throughout the world to help one another with formatting ideas and placing accounts, as globalization takes ever-increasing root in the world economy.
