Arbitration Forums, a nonprofit provider of dispute resolution services, is offering a new electronic service. Its new web-based paperless network, the E-Subro Hub System, will act as an electronic channel for subrogation dealings between insurance carriers and others involved.

Designed to streamline the subrogation claim process, the E-Subro Hub will not require any new software, according to the company, and will be scalable to companies' individual technical capacity. AF said that with the new technology, users will be able to send and receive subrogation demands electronically, attach supporting documents such as estimates, bills, photos, and police reports, automatically route demands to file handlers, negotiate online, and view and download online reports.

“The E-Subro Hub will transform a slow, cumbersome, paper-driven subrogation process into a seamless, highly-efficient electronic system that produces rapid settlements and reduces costs,” said D. Kay Smith, AF's president and chief executive officer.
