Everyone with an e-mail address has encountered this problem virtually every day. Access your e-mail and there waits a long list of messages. Then begins the tedious process of wading through and separating the legitimate messages from spam.
If you're lucky, it may take just a few minutes to sift through it all, but the experience of many today is that they are inundated with dozens if not hundreds of messages. Opening some may mean downloading offensive material or–perhaps most dreaded–viruses that can cripple an agency's computer systems.
There are a number of technologies and strategies out there to deal with this headache, and one agency believes it has found what it feels is a highly effective program to deal with it.
