Two nationally recognized restoration companies are sharing the small screen this year by making appearances on two different television programs.

A member company of Disaster Kleenup International, a network of independent property damage restoration contractors, recently assisted on several episodes entitled “After the Storm” for ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. Statewide Disaster Restoration, which is based in Mississippi, helped rebuild commercial areas in Florida, Mississippi, and Texas that were hardest hit by last year's hurricanes.

Paul Davis Restoration, a network of restoration and remodeling general contractors, also will have a presence on the small screen. It will work as general contractor on the DIY Network's DIY to the Rescue, a program which helps homeowners who are dealing with botched home repairs, remodeling problems, and other do-it-yourself jobs. The series seeks to teach homeowners how to finish difficult projects. Episodes are slated to be filmed in the spring and summer, with most episodes airing later in 2006.
