Progressive Redesigns Web Site for Drive Brand

ForAgentsOnly.com, the password-protected Web site fromProgressive Insurance that agents and brokers use to quote andservice their customers through the carrier's Drive brand, hasunveiled a new home page design and site navigation that make iteasier to take care of business.

The redesigned site offers an at-a-glance summary of what agentsand brokers need to know and do with their Drive business, with afocus on writing new business and servicing customers. Thisincludes a real-time list of policies that need service, customerreferrals, and claims activity. A new main menu and more intuitivesite navigation are provided to help agents and brokers access thetools in just one or two mouse clicks.

When the redesign process started in the spring of 2005, Drivesolicited input from agents and brokers to better understand howthey use the site and what types of changes would make it fasterand easier to use. The company continued to review progress withthe agents throughout the redesign.

Our job is to helpthem do that in less time and with even less effort than before.So, our goal for the redesign was to give agents faster,'one-or-two-click' access to the wide variety of tools andinformation available on FAO.”

The redesign also will serve as a launch pad for morefunctionality currently under development. FAO soon will be themain portal for the Drive agency participation program and willsupply agents and brokers with access to a broad menu of Drivemarketing opportunities, such as signs, direct mail, radio,billboards, and Yellow Page ads, all designed to help them promotetheir agencies.
