Claims News Service, Nov. 3, 8:54 a.m. EST — Crawford & Company’s U.S. and International Catastrophe Services Units have adjusters in the Yucatan Peninsula and throughout Florida managing claims from Hurricane Wilma. The storm struck the Yucatan Peninsula as a deadly Category 4 hurricane and later moved across Florida as a Category 3 storm.

Crawford established catastrophe command centers in Tampa/Sarasota and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. In addition, a management team has set up an induction center in Orlando for adjusters deployed to the area.
