Risk Management Solutions, a provider of catastrophe riskmanagement products, has released its Global Geocoding Platform andupgraded its Global Terrorism Risk and Terrorism Scenario models.The two tools will provide insurers and reinsurers with a worldwideview of their catastrophe risk accumulations.

RMS' exposure accumulation program allows users to identify andquantify concentrations of property and human-life exposures withina user-defined radius, along with assessing the implications forassociated natural disasters and terrorist risks.

The Terrorism Scenario Model will cover 228 countries andsupport the analysis of specific scenarios for most locationsaround the world. The model allows users to estimate losses andcasualties for multiple lines of business for 30 different attackscenarios, ranging from conventional bombs to chemical, biological,radiological, and nuclear attacks. Users can select a target for anattack, or scan global exposures to identify worst-case attacklocations for a given scenario.
