Brendan T. Reilly, a member of the House Committee on FinancialServices staff, has been named director of federal governmentaffairs for the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers ofAmerica. Prior to his work on the committee, Reilly served assenior legislative assistant to Rep. Mike Ferguson (R-N.J.) and asan aide to Rep. Bob Riley (R-Ala.).

Reilly will replace Justin Roth, vice president of federalgovernment affairs, who is leaving to take a federal governmentaffair position with the National Association of Mutual InsuranceCompanies. Roth leaves after almost four years of service with theassociation's government affair team.
