James Henry Winn has joined Max Re Ltd. as senior vice president and North American treaty underwriter.

Mr. Winn was one of several new appointments made by the Bermuda-based carrier, a subsidiary of Max Re Capital Ltd.

In addition, Roman Romeo and Stefan Dupres also joined Max Re as senior catastrophe modelers. Mr. Romeo most recently worked at XL Reinsurance Ltd., and Mr. Dupres at Endurance Specialty Insurance Ltd.
