Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group plc announced the appointment ofDominic Burke as chief executive of the brokerage group.
His appointment follows the announcement last year thatLondon-based JLT would search for a chief executive to take overfrom Executive Chairman Ken Carter before the end of 2006. Mr.Carter has retired as chief operating officer.
Mr. Burke was previously a director and chief operating officer.His appointment fills an opening created by the departure of SteveMcGill in November amid a souring profit picture.
