The 65th Secretary of State and retired four-star General Colin L. Powell will be the keynote speaker at the 2006 Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers National Legislative Conference & Convention.
Mr. Powell is scheduled to speak April 28, 2006 at the event's closing general session, the association said.
The IIABA's National Legislative Conference & Convention will take place April 26-28, with the National Legislative Conference running April 26-27 at the Grand Hyatt Washington, and the Convention running April 27-28 at the Washington Convention Center.
