NU Online News Service, Oct. 4, 2005 - AIG Consultants in NewYork, announced new wireless capabilities for an existingstand-alone service that assists businesses in preparing for andresponding to crisis situations.
The program, Planning and Tracking Response OnLine, known asPATROL, is a crisis management tool that provides clients withaccess to a global network of leading providers of crisispreparation and response companies, enabling clients to ordercrisis-related services, and respond to an event while trackingdevelopments on-line, in real-time.
With the new capability, clients are now able to browse andorder services from a handheld, Web-enabled device or Blackberry,in addition to being able to log onto the system using a personalcomputer.
