Thacher Associates, a New York-based risk management, fraudprevention and business intelligence firm, announced that Alan M.Gershowitz has joined the company as chief operating officer andexecutive managing director.
Mr. Gershowitz, 47, an attorney, was formerly an executive withCablevision Systems Corp.
The company said Mr. Gershowitz will oversee all aspects ofThacher Associates' business operations, including strategicplanning, administration, human resources, marketing, publicrelations and new business development. Mr. Gershowitz will alsowork with the senior management team on potential strategicacquisitions and partnerships.
