Former White Mountains Insurance Group chief financial officerand managing director James J. Ritchie has been elected boardchairman at the Bermuda-based specialty insurer Quanta CapitalHoldings Ltd.
In addition to his stint at White Mountains, Mr. Ritchie hasheld various positions with CIGNA Corporation and served in theinsurance audit group at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Mr. Ritchie's election was one of three moves made by the boardof directors at the recommendation of the company's governance andnominating committee. The board also appointed Robert LippincottIII to the audit committee. Mr. Lippincott is the president ofLippincott Consulting Holding LLC, and has been a director ofQuanta since March of 2005.
