Progressive Insurance Company is now writing policies in New Jersey.

Democratic Acting Gov. Richard Codey made the announcement yesterday, noting it is the fifth company to enter the state in the last two years.

The Mayfield, Ohio-based company will offer two of its top ten lines to state drivers.
