The National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies,Indianapolis, Ind., has added 10 new firms to its list of 1,400member companies.

"These new members add even more depth to the NAMIC membership,"said Bart Anderson, senior vice president of member services andcommunications.

NAMIC, a national trade association, said its membershipunderwrites 43 percent ($196 billion) of the property-casualtyinsurance premium in the United States and accounts for 44 percentof the homeowners market, 38 percent of the automobile market, 39percent of the workers' compensation market, and 31 percent of thecommercial property and liability market.
