Commercial and industrial property insurer FM Global announcedtoday that it has received regulatory approval in principle toestablish a branch office in Singapore.
The Johnston, R.I.-based company said the news marks its firstinsurance license in Asia and demonstrates its long-term commitmentto Singapore and the remaining Asia region.
FM Global said its growth has followed that of its multinationalclients, which have rapidly expanded their global capabilities,leading the mutual insurer to provide its products and services inmore than 100 countries.
