Marsh & McLennan Companies, New York, has named Brian Storms to head Marsh Inc., its risk and insurance services subsidiary.
Mr. Storms most recently served as chief executive and president of Mercer Human Resources Consulting, another Marsh & McLennan subsidiary.
Michael Caulfield will take over as president of Mercer, moving up from his current post as chief operating officer.
"With Marsh making progress in its recovery, it is time for me to dedicate my full attention to refining and implementing MMC's overall growth strategy," said Michael G. Cherkasky, president and chief executive officer of Marsh & McLennan Companies Inc., in a prepared statement.
