RJF Agencies Inc. announced the appointment of Tim Fleming as president and Jill Lowder as chief operating officer.
"[The promotions] will further create leadership structure and depth to prepare us for future growth," said Bill Jeatran, RJF's chief executive offer. "As RJF continues to grow, we continually focus on organizational and leadership development to create an effective and efficient management team."
This focus, he added, "has helped us to continue to attract and retain key employees, further develop resources within our company and build upon our middle-market risk management emphasis."
A spokesman for the Minneapolis-based insurance agency said Mr. Jeatran gave up the title of president to Mr. Fleming to provide smoother corporate operations and to align each executive with their corporate strengths and the firm's needs.
The COO position is a new position within RJF.
Mr. Fleming was president of business development and has been with RJF since 1988. Ms. Lowder joined RJF in 1994 and has worked in various leadership roles, most recently as vice president of corporate operations.
