The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America saidtheir annual conference will include a technology use workshop toenhance profitability and help agent marketing, sales andmanagement functions.

The event will be co-hosted by the Independent Insurance Agents& Brokers of New York and the Agents Council for Technology(ACT) on Sept. 11, during the IIABA annual conference in NewYork.

IIABA's meeting will be held Sept. 10- 12 at the Hilton New York& Towers.

The first part of the co-hosted workshop is "Enhancing YourAgency's Sales & Marketing Effectiveness." It will discuss howagencies are using specific business processes and technology toolsto enhance sales, marketing and management functions in theiragencies.

The second part, "Five Steps to a Better Agency Bottom-Line,"will involve a panel discussion among agents, carriers and vendorson how to implement new business processes and technologies toenhance profits.

IIABA said the discussion will focus on the benefits of thelatest real-time interfaces, improved downloads and paperlessstrategies to drive agency efficiencies and enable more productivesales and service contacts.

|

The convention will also feature continuing education workshops,networking events, and a product and services show.
