Willis Group Holdings said it is opening a new office in Omaha,Neb., and hiring four former Marsh executives to run the office,underscoring the broker's expansion in North America.
Willis said it has hired Todd Malouf, Mike Welsh, CarolineKrueger and Cathy Bennett, all formerly with the Omaha office ofMarsh. Mr. Malouf, Mr. Welsh and Ms. Krueger were named vicepresidents, and Ms. Bennett was named assistant vice president.
In a statement, Mario Vitale, chief executive officer of WillisNorth America, in New York, said the firm is continuing itsexpansion in North America and the new office "strongly positionsWillis as an emerging leader in the Nebraska insurance and riskmanagement community."
