AIG Excess Casualty, a New York-based division of AmericanInternational Group Inc., has announced a new online database of"real-world claim scenarios" designed to help insurance buyers andbrokers in benchmarking a particular liability type, industry orlimit.
The company said its brokers and clients can access the AIGxsClaims Archive at www.aigexcesscasualty.com.The Archive contains nearly 2,000 high-cost claims examples inexcess of an insured's primary liability coverage from 1988 to2004.
According to AIG Excess Casualty, the database is sorted byliability type and industry, allowing buyers and brokers toassess:
