Mr. Kramer, an executive in the office of the president andchief executive officer, joined the company as vice chairmanfollowing the Bermuda-based ACE's acquisition of TempestReinsurance Ltd. He founded that company and served as chairman andCEO.
Evan Greenberg, ACE chief executive officer, said that Mr.Kramer "served as an effective ambassador for ACE and trustedadvisor and confidante to me."
