PIA Members Eligible For Cat. Med. Cover
NU Online News Service, Jan. 19, 2:07 p.m. EST?The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents said that members are now eligible to apply for the PIA Services' Catastrophe Major Medical Plan.[@@]
The plan is available exclusively to PIA members and is designed to pick up where basic major medical leaves off, the Alexandria, Va.-based association said.
PIA Service's Catastrophe Major Medical Plan helps pay for medical expenses such as private duty nursing care, home health care, home nursing care, convalescent home recovery and reimbursement for expenses beyond the limits of the PIA member's insurer.
The plan is administered by Marsh Affinity Group Services, a service of Seabury & Smith, a subsidiary of New York-based Marsh & McLennan Companies.
