Computer Science, Aon Sign $600 Million Contract
|NU Online News Service, July 23, 3:17 p.m.EDT?Computer Sciences Corporation said it has signed a$600 million seven-year contract with insurance broker Aon Corp. toprovide its U.S. operations with information technologyinfrastructure support services.[@@]
|Under the agreement, the El Segundo, Calif.-based CSC said itwould operate and manage Aon's U.S. telecommunications and datanetworks, desktop support, related help desk services, and variousIT support functions.
|The majority of the approximately 600 Chicago-based insurancebroker's IT employees and contractors, who currently manage thefirm's technical infrastructure, are expected to transition to CSCin late August.
