Web Site Design Software Debuts
V Communications, a developer and publisher of Web development tools, based in San Jose, Calif., has released Web Easy Professional 5, a complete Web design studio for the personal computer, allowing users to create their own Web sites.
Web Easy Professional 5 lets users drag photos, clipart, buttons, objects and more onto the Web Easy canvas. Users see exactly what the Web page will look like as they work, the company noted. All items can be easily moved at any time to any location. No cumbersome layout tables are ever necessary.
The product also includes a 60,000-item library of clipart, buttons, photos, sounds, video, frames, stencils, forms, objects and more, said V Communications.
Some of features include:
Objects, graphics and tools to make an e-commerce site easy to create and maintain.
A layer toolbar that makes it easy to select and change any objects position relative to others. (Also includes features to hide and unhide objects.)
Any existing Web sites can be brought into Web Easy Professional.
Have your Web site change appearance based on the time and date of the local machine. Change text, images, fonts, colors and more. Many pre-defined categories of scenes are included, such as holidays, days of the week, time of day and seasons.
An integrated image viewer that displays thumbnails of more than 150 file formats.
Web Easy Professional 5 is compatible with Windows 98, Me, 2000 and XP. It is priced at $69.99 and can be purchased at retail stores.
