PCI Hires Ex-Legislator To Lobby Louisiana

NU Online News Service, Jan. 29, 11:32 a.m. EST?The Property Casualty Insurers Association of America announced that former Louisiana State Representative Charles McMains Jr., R-Baton Rouge, has joined as the group's local counsel in Louisiana.[@@]

"Charles will play an important role in representing our members' interests in the state capital," said Greg LaCost, regional manager and counsel for PCI. The association said its member companies write 36 percent of the total Louisiana property-casualty insurance market. PCI, based in Des Plaines, Ill., was formed Jan. 8 when the National Association of Independent Insurers and the Alliance of American Insurers merged.
