Keep Carriers Courting You–Even In A Tight Market

Its always tough to predict a market cycle. For every article that declares property rates arent rising at quite the same brisk clip they did in 2002, theres another that says property-casualty companies profits still arent where they need to be given the dreary investment climate.

One way to tell for sure, the theory goes, is that you know its a tight market when its tougher for independent agents to get and keep their commercial appointments.

But weve noticed that in every town there are a few superstar agencies that manage to defy the markets and have all the major commercial carriers courting them.
