Ayer Gets Award For Hartford Educational Push
NU Online News Service, Nov. 13, 12:04 p.m. EST?Ramani Ayer, chairman and chief executive officer of The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc., was due to be honored today for a multimillion-dollar support program his company has run for the public schools of Hartford, Conn.
Mr. Ayer will be given Greater Hartford's newly created Polaris Award, created to honor local leaders "who demonstrate courage, vision and innovation and make a lasting, meaningful impact on the quality of life in Greater Hartford."
