Actuary Conference: Insolvencies, Other Topics
NU Online News Service, Oct. 2, 2:00 p.m. EDT?Underwriting cycles, the impact of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and coping with insolvencies will be featured topics at the annual meeting of the Casualty Actuarial Society, Nov. 9-12 at the New Orleans Marriott.
The featured speaker will be Rushworth M. Kidder, who has worked to refine guidelines for ethical decision-making at his Institute for Global Ethics, in Camden, Maine. The Institute has developed ethics training programs for international corporations, nonprofits, government entities and prisons.
