Eppinger Named Allmerica President, CEO
NU Online News Service, Aug 20, 3:30 p.m. EDT– Allmerica Financial Corporation, based in Worcester, Mass., has named Frederick Eppinger president, chief executive officer and director, effective Sept. 8.
At the time of his appointment, Mr. Eppinger was executive vice president of property and casualty field and service operations for The Hartford, responsible for approximately 6,000 employees. He joined The Hartford in 2001, as senior vice president for strategic marketing, and has more than 20 years experience in the insurance and financial services businesses, according to Allmerica.
