IIABA To Hold CEO Roundtable

NU Online News Service, July 28, 11:20 a.m. EDT?A roundtable discussion by several chief executive officers will be included in the opening session of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America InfoXchange this September in Las Vegas, the group said.

Robert A. Rusbuldt, CEO of the Alexandria, Va.-based association, will moderate the discussion, which will tackle issues affecting the independent agency system and the insurance industry as a whole, IIABA said.

Scheduled to join Mr. Rusbuldt for the CEO panel discussion are Dan Carmichael, CEO of Ohio Casualty Group; Jeff Post, CEO of Fireman's Fund Insurance Company; Cathy Rein, CEO of MetLife Auto and Home; and a fourth CEO still to be named.

IIABA said the conference keynote speech will be delivered by Howard Putnam, the former CEO of Southwest Airlines.

Conference registration materials are available by visiting www.independentagent.com and clicking on the Events & Conferences link, and agents and brokers who register by Aug. 15 can save $75 on the registration fee, IIABA said..
