IIABA Offers Elite Sales Training For Inexperienced Agents

NU Online News Service, April 17, 4:00 p.m. EDT- The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of Americaannounced that it's "Elite Force Sales Training Program" is nowaccepting agents looking to develop strong sales skills andincrease their sales production.

The program is for agents with less than three years experiencein sales and less than five years in the insurance industry. Thecourse consists of 12 full days of training conducted in three-day,quarterly intervals.

Among the program's highlights:

|

? Class size is limited to 15 students to ensure everyonereceives individual attention during and after each class.

|

? Maintains contact and reinforcement through monthly e-mailexchanges with each student.

|

? Students are required to report sales activity and review theresults quarterly with instructors.

|

? Builds accountability into the daily habits of students.

|

? Friendly, competitive environment with peers.

|

? Upon completion of the course work each student is awarded theAssociate in Insurance Production designation.

"The Elite Force Sales Training course creates sellingmachines," says Madelyn Flannagan the Alexandria, Va.?basedassociation's vice president of education and research. "Salesskills are critical to the success of any producer. However,selling is arguably the most elusive skill in the insuranceindustry and certainly one of the most difficult to develop.

"This program is ideal for producers who have a general idea ofthe sales process, but are lacking the foundation of a strongsales-skills program," she said.

Classes are scheduled to held May, 27 to 29; Aug., 19 to 21;Nov., 18 to 20 and Jan. 13 to 15, and will be held at the HiltonAlexandria Old Town in Alexandria, Va.
