Arthur J. Gallagher Names New CFO
NU Online News Service, Feb. 3, 3:46 p.m.EST?Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced today thatDouglas K. Howell would join the insurance brokerage firm on March3 as its new chief financial officer.
Mr. Howell, 41, replaces executive vice president and chieffinancial officer Michael J. Cloherty, who left the position inSeptember of 2002. He remains under contract with the firm as aspecial advisor to the chief executive officer.
