Pay Attention To Application Process, D&O Insurance Buyers Warned

While the first order of business for buyers of directors and officers liability insurance policies is to preserve existing coverage, adding more limits and paying more attention to the application process ought to be on the agenda also, according to a D&O expert.

Dan A. Bailey, a partner with the law firm Arter & Hadden in Columbus, Ohio, explained that with D&O policies, “the most severe activity is going on in the public arena.”
