Tower Technology, Zantaz In Partnership
NU Online News Service, June 25, 10:49 a.m. EST?Tower Technology, a provider of infrastructure software for document and content processing, today announced a strategic partnership with Zantaz, which offers digital archiving and content management applications.
Terms of the arrangement were not announced. Under the agreement, San Francisco-based Zantaz will integrate Tower's WebCapture into the Zantaz Digital Safe services for the secure capture, storage and retrieval of Web transactions.
According to the companies, WebCapture records the entire content and context of an Internet transaction to meet business, statutory and regulatory requirements, creating an online transaction infrastructure.
The Zantaz Digital Safe service captures, restores, archives and retrieves e-mail, instant messages and other electronic business documents. According to Boston-based Tower, the addition of WebCapture to these services will allow for the capture, archiving, and replay of all the Web pages involved in online transactions, agreements and contracts.
"WebCapture can record information from any number of Web sites located anywhere on the Internet, making it an ideal ASP application," the announcement noted.
"There is a rapidly growing need to manage and preserve digital communications of all types, including those conducted over the Web," said Steve King, president and CEO of Zantaz. "WebCapture? allows [us] to offer [our] clients a cost-effective and secure record of online transactions, to help them improve ROI as well as meet e-business regulatory requirements."
