Correction On Aon Report

The "Hot News" recap on page 8 of the Feb. 18 edition of"National Underwriter," as well as a Feb. 13 "NU Online NewsService" story on the results of Chicago-based broker Aonincorrectly reported that Aon sustained a "loss" for its 2001fourth quarter, when in fact Aon merely reported an 8 percentdecline in net income for the quarter. The Feb. 18 edition blurbalso should have made clear that Aon expects positive results in2002 from the business transformation program it launched lastyear.
